i don't recall there being any bestality but joe on some occasions in the documentary does call the tigers "sexy" while baby talking them which could be jarring to some (i know it was for me :/ )
Borderline. They identify where their target lives and where she rides her bike through her Facebook live videos, and discuss hiding in the bushes to kill her.
Yes. There is repeated animal abuse via exotic animals being caged, poked, underfed, underexercised, forced to perform, petting zoos, forced breeding, sold for profit, etc.
At 24 minutes in there is a scene where they cut up lots of already dead cows, they find the cows that have gotten hit by cars and take them back to the zoo to feed the tigers
first happens roughly 30 minutes into Episode 1, which mentions a news story in which a man set his private exotic animal collection free. Many of those animals, which included 18 tigers, were shot in an effort to save civilians, and photos of their bodies are shown. More graphically, Episode 2 opens on harrowing footage of one of Joe Exotic’s employees getting mauled by a tiger. Also at the end of Episode 4 there’s also footage of a man punching a tiger after the animal attacked him.
Then there’s the trial against Joe Exotic. Not to spoil too much for Episodes 6 and 7, but a major part of the charges that landed the Tiger King in jail had to do with directly harming animals. Again, these incidents are discussed but never shown on screen.
I answered yes but it's complicated. Young women who come to work at one of the zoos are pressured to "marry" the manipulative zoo owner and one surviver discribes feeling like she couldn't leave.
A person commits suicide off camera. The camera has captured a muzzle flash and a bystander's horrified reaction.
It's discussed that this may have been an accident and not intentional.
Episode 5 minute 36 there is a Christmas parade with lots of flashing lights. Episode 6 minute 27 there is a brief strip club scene with flashing lights, in the same episode minute 31 there are some clips from the Christmas parade with flashing lights.
Saff is a trans man but it’s not stated and he’s referred to with she/her pronouns in this show. This is information that has been circulating online now that the show is released. It isn’t addressed or explained on the show.
Spoiler alert: Mentions of tigers being shot to make more cage space available, an accidental suicide affects Joe Exotic, plus the unsolved mysterious disappearance of Carole's previous husband.
